Love Letter to ASUS ROG Swift Monitor
I would like to mention that this is not a sponsored post, and I have no affiliation with ASUS. I also do not intend to start doing a bunch of product reviews on this blog. However, I wanted to create a brief post about how much of a difference a good display can make, and how much I love my new monitor. I got the PG32UCDMR (mouthful!) yesterday, and have been gushing about it ever since. I came from a Samsung Ultrawide (specifically the S34J552WQN), and my friend urged me to get a new monitor, since with a 75 Hz refresh rate, it was simply not doing my RTX 5080 justice. I agreed, but I wanted to save up a little bit before making the purchase. I spend over $1000 on this monitor, and it was worth every penny. I decided to go with the 32”, which only has the third generation display, but apparently there is a newer 27” panel! However, this monitor has a 240 Hz refresh rate and 4K resolution, which just makes a difference. I spent extra on the version with DisplayPort 2.1, so I don’t even have to deal with DSC. If you also have a super powerful graphics card and need a new monitor, I highly recommend this one. Difference is night and day. Anyone else have experience with this monitor or other high-end gaming monitors? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
